Monthly Recap
Settled into Monterey! Weather here is a pleasant change compared to the Florida heat. So far it has been chilly in the early mornings and nights but gets nice and sunny during the day. I got to explore around the area; visited the beach and saw sea lions and sea otters for the first time! I’ve also been warned about how cold the weather is going to be, so I hope to stay warm for as long as possible.
Welcome Week at MIIS was great. Met some new students and finally got to see some of my fellow classmates in person. Hoping to see more familiar faces once classes start again.
What’s Next!
Speaking of classes, the fall-semester is starting very soon so I’ll be hyper focused on schoolwork for the upcoming months. I will try to share any exciting projects or new skills I’ll pick up on throughout the semester. I have another loaded schedule with plenty more to learn from program management, games localization, financial side of localization, terminology management, and of course Japanese. One big change from the previous semesters is that I’ll be walking to classes instead of joining the zoom link. Hope to come back with exciting updates. Stay happy.
